Schenectady County Community College

A new 105,000 square foot, five-story, 313-bed dormitory building is proposed by Schenectady Community College, Columbia Development and BBL Construction. The building will consist of apartment style units housing 1, 2, 4, 5 or 6 students per unit. Each apartment will include a kitchen, common living rooms, 1 or 2 bathrooms, and private & semi-private bedrooms. Each floor will have laundry facilities and common study/activity spaces, and the main floor will be equipped with a computer lab and large group multi-purpose room.
